FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., May 13, 2025 -- RHP Properties, professionally managing manufactured home communities for over 30 years, has announced a $10,000 donation to support Avery's Creek Elementary in Arden, North Carolina through AdoptAClassroom.org, a national nonprofit that provides funding to PreK-12 educators. This marks the seventeenth school RHP Properties has adopted through the program to support schools attended by residents of RHP communities, with a total of $170,000 donated to date.
Avery's Creek Elementary serves approximately 600 students from kindergarten through fourth grade, including 85 who live in the nearby Wellington Estates and Wellington North manufactured home communities. The school is committed to providing a supportive learning environment that fosters student growth while building a community of responsible, motivated young individuals with a passion for lifelong learning.
"After Hurricane Helene shut down Asheville schools for over a month, the teachers from Avery's Creek went above and beyond - using the pavilion at Wellington Estates to hand out books and provide lessons to keep kids from falling behind," said Ross Partrich, CEO, RHP Properties. "We're proud now to continue to support their efforts through a partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org."
"Buncombe County Schools started this school year with the theme 'together we rise,' which took on added significance after the hurricane," said Carrie Lynch, Principal of Avery's Creek Elementary. "It is heartwarming that the people at RHP Properties have wrapped their arms around the Avery's Creek Elementary School community to support our students and teachers in this challenging year. We are extremely grateful for their generosity."
